WSU Students, Faculty and Staff, please join us at the WSU planetarium for a free show on the first Friday of every month. Come learn about the stars and see a fulldome movie using our new projector!
Pre-registration on events.wayne.edu is required and a WSU ID must be presented at the planetarium door. Each WSU attendee may bring one non-WSU guest (include this on your RSVP form). Walk-ins are not permitted.
Doors open 10 minutes prior to the show and close promptly at show time, so please arrive in advance.
Healthy campus requirements:
You must wear a mask throughout the show for the safety of our staff and other guests.
Please complete the campus health screener prior to arrival and be prepared to show it to the host.
Staff reserve the right to ask non-complian individuals or those that appear sick to leave before or during a show.
Other Planetarium events:
The planetarium hosts free public planetarium shows on many Friday evenings throughout the year, please check the planetarium calendar. First Friday shows are limited to current WSU students, faculty and staff. Young astronomer shows (ages 4-8 recommended) are held on the second Saturday morning of each month. All shows require pre registration.
