The Levin Center for Oversight and Democracy and Georgetown Law Center for Congressional Studies are partnering to present a livestreamed panel on how the innovative approaches used by the January 6 Select Committee will affect future oversight hearings by Congress.

The in-person discussion held in Washington, D.C. will be livestreamed to DJK 2242 - all students, faculty, and staff are welcome. Lunch boxes will be provided on a first come first serve basis.

Panelists include:

  • Kristin Amerling, Deputy Staff Director and Chief Counsel of the January 6 Committee
  • Reginald Brown, partner at Kirkland & Ellis law firm, represented witnesses before the January 6 Committee
  • Lisa Desjardins, correspondent, PBS NewsHour, covering the U.S. Capitol
  • Professor David Rapallo, Georgetown University Law Center, former congressional investigator
