It has all been leading up to this.....all those long hours writing papers and taking notes. It is time to get your first social work job and make change in your community.  

Thus, to conclude our ‘Step Into Your Future’ professional development series, the Wayne State School of Social Work is excited to announce our virtual ‘Career and Connections Hiring Fair’. The Hiring Fair will commence on Friday, March 24th, from 12-2pm on Zoom.  

At the Careers and Connections Hiring Fair, over 15 social service agencies and organizations will be on hand to tell you all about the open positions they have available. Example agencies include psychological healthcare, LGBTQ-focused organizations, child welfare innovators, community advocacy hubs, and more.  

These agencies are excited to meet YOU, so come ready to chat and take a step into your future!  

The ‘Careers and Connections Hiring Fair’ is one session within ‘Step Into Our Future’, our three-part virtual professional development series. ‘Step Into Your Future’ features three educational Zoom sessions, each covering essential topics for upcoming MSW or BSW graduates. Students are encouraged to attend each session individually or participate in all three. Each session has its’ own unique Zoom link, so be sure to RSVP for each event separately.

Tuesday, March 21st, 6-7pm: ABSW Licensure Exam Workshop led by the WSU Social Work Advisors  

Friday, March 24th, 12-2pm: Careers and Connections Hiring Fair - featuring over 15 hiring agencies
