Dr. Nate McCaughtry, assistant dean in the Division of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies and director of the Center for Health and Community Impact, shares his passion for community impact and will provide insight into the future of health-related programs within the College of Education.
McCaughtry is an inductee of the National Academy of Kinesiology as an Active Fellow.
Election to the Academy is a sign of high esteem and respect, and it is one of the highest honors the field offers.
As the director of the Center for Health and Community Impact, McCaughtry focuses on partnerships - including a collaboration with Blue Cross Blue Shield that is reducing childhood obesity and promoting healthy living in Michigan schools and communities - that impact a multitude of populations.
