The Center for Health Equity and Community Knowledge in Urban Populations (CHECK-UP) has established a Middle Eastern/North African (MENA), Refugee, and Immigrant Health Equity Research Network and is looking for individuals interested in community-engaged research. Following the results of the Fall 2022 Community-Engaged Research (CEnR) Symposium, members of the Research Network meet monthly to collaborate on a project to advance MENA, Refugee, and Immigrant health equity in community guided priority areas. Special topics include data visibility, knowledge sharing and collaboration, developing common terminology, among others.
The Research Network is open to all faculty, staff, community stakeholders, and students.
