The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Medical Laboratory Science program will have distinguished alum presenter Marcia Singo '80 presenting to the Medical Laboratory Science students about her field of work and study. On Monday, September 18th at 12pm -1pm at the Mortuary Science building on Woodward Avenue.

Marcia Singo received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology in 1980; she began her career as an intern and then became employed with Henry Ford Health System. She went on to work internationally for three years before returning to Michigan. Marcia retired in 2020 after 40 years in the lab, which spanned an era of automation development, the advent of computers, new technologies, and vast testing, speed, and safety improvements.

The Medical Laboratory Students will hear from an alum who has been a trailblazer in the Medical Laboratory Science field.
