Respond and Support: Using Restorative Practices to Guide Our Efforts
This event is in the past.
1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
When there is conflict within a group and it is perceived to impact inclusivity, it is common for those involved to reach out to colleagues and friends for support. This means that members of our community ought to be prepared with skills to have a supportive conversation in such moments, but what behaviors are supportive?
This workshop seeks to prepare participants with a foundational skillset in Restorative Practices. This skillset can be activated in moments to provide support to friends and colleagues in a conflict.
Alex Boesch, PhD, who is trained by the International Institute in Restorative Practices, will be facilitating this session.
This workshopn is part of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Learning & Development Series (DEI L&D Series) put on by the Office of Inclusive Excellence.
