The Wayne State University community is invited to a free luncheon workshop to educate academics and professionals primarily in the microscopy, imaging, and cytometry fields on the PhenoImager HT, a whole slide scanning multispectral imaging system designed to provide precise and accurate quantitative analysis of multiplexed tissues.

PhenoImager® HT 2.0 is a whole-slide scanning, multispectral imaging system that provides precise and accurate quantitative analysis of FFPE Tissue specimens.  Powered by Akoya’s patented Multispectral Imaging (MSI) and spectral unmixing technologies the PhenoImager HT 2.0 enables rapid and accurate spatial phenotyping at scale. This technology helps academics and professionals visualize and measure multiple cell phenotypes, such as tumor and immune cells, simultaneously in FFPE tissues.

Attendees can learn the ins and outs of the PhenoImager HT 2.0 (Vectra Polaris) in order to better understand cellular neighborhoods and intercellular relationships and gain a deeper understanding of the tissue microenvironment, providing cellular and contextual detail.

The agenda includes:

  • 12:00 PM - Introductions and Overview of Core Services by Jessica B. Back, Ph.D., SCYM (ASCP), Associate Director, Microscopy, Imaging, and Cytometry Resources Core
  • 12:10 PM - Introduction to Akoya Biosciences PhenoImager HT 2.0
  • 12:45 - 2:00 PM - Getting Started and Advanced Discussion - Q&A, Learn how to get started and incorporate multiplexing into your research. Ask Questions about the technology, speak with Akoya Specialists one-to-one.

This program will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Pharmacology Department Library, 6364 Scott Hall, located at 540 E. Canfield. Lunch will be served.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 3 if you wish to attend.
