Please join Doctors Against Genocide and Wayne State University Faculty and Staff for Justice in Palestine in solidarity with Gazans' quest for return, as we hold a “Sick from Genocide” press conference and vigil.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Nidal Jboor, Founding Co-Director of Doctors Against Genocide.

“Sick from Genocide” reflects the immense moral injury, emotional trauma, and grief experienced by those who have been witnessing atrocities in Palestine. We cannot fully function as healers, students, faculty, and staff while the destruction of lives and futures is not just ignored but actively supported.

In past year our us government has spent $26 billion to arm Israel’s genocide against the people of Palestine. Meanwhile, here in the US, health insurance corporations deny care to  patients and leave them wracked with debt as CEOs make record profits.

The cure is an end to genocide, justice for the victims, and accountability for those responsible, and a shift of our tax dollars from genocide and occupation to housing, healthcare and education.
