Lipids@Wayne is an interdisciplinary research group at Wayne State University, bringing together scientists and trainees from throughout the country to advance lipid research. Join us for the 12th Annual Symposium as we explore the roles of lipids in health and disease!

Our 2025 symposium will feature exciting keynote talks from:


Julie Saba, MD, PhD (University of California San Francisco)

"Sphingosine phosphate lyase insufficiency syndrome: from gene discovery to gene therapy and beyond"

 

William Prinz, PhD (UT Southwestern Medical Center)

“New roles for contact sites and ER domains in lipid homeostasis”

 

The event will also include short talks selected from submitted abstracts and a poster session (monetary prizes awarded to the top oral and poster presenters). This event is free and open to the general public, with lunch provided. Registration required by:

April 27th for abstract submission

May 1st for general attendance
