The Karmanos Translational Molecular Conference meets the fourth Wednesday of each month from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. to discuss difficult and interesting clinical cases that have been analyzed on a next generation sequencing based platform.
We aim to examine a few cases each month to aid in clinical decision making, educate our community in precision oncology, and identify potential topics and collaborations for laboratory-based and clinical
research.
All clinical and basic science faculty, staff and trainees are encouraged to attend. We will ask the various multidisciplinary teams to provide at least one case each month on a rotating basis but will accept cases from any team each month as clinical need and academic interest dictates. In keeping with the educational mission of this conference, Continuing Medical Education credits will be provided.
Please send requests for cases to be discussed to Frank Cackowski, M.D. (cackowskif@karmanos.org) at least two weeks before the conference date.
This month’s conference will be led by Frank Cackowski, M.D., Ph.D.; Michael Tainsky, Ph.D.; and Scott Baughan, Ph.D.
