Do you think about what makes an academic program a curriculum instead of a random collection of courses? Or, as a faculty, how do we move from “my courses” to “our program” to better serve our students? Dialogues around a program’s mission, learning outcomes, curriculum map, and assessments can help break down faculty silos, build a more coherent learning experience for students, and help programs find ways to improve.

In this session, new faculty will learn about each of these tools and WSU Assessment’s role in supporting their development and use. You’ll hear from faculty colleagues whose programs have benefitted from engagement with these tools as well.
