Finding support from the Family Advocacy Network (FANs) at WSU | New faculty seminar series
Interested to learn about the many ways that WSU provides resources on work, family, and life across the faculty lifecycle? Join us at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 19, to hear how WSU can support you, from the first tenure-track position to retirement and everything in between!
In this virtual session, Krista Brumley, professor of sociology and PI of the ADVANCE PARTNERSHIP WSU SIEDS grant, and Nicole Gerring, SIEDS project coordinator and family services coordinator, will share information on university policies related to work/family/life, including parental leave, caregiving, benefits and wellness, and the tenure clock.
Faculty will also learn about the Family Advocacy Network (FANs), a faculty-to-faculty support program initiated with funding from the National Science Foundation ADVANCE WSU GEARS grant (2020-2024).
