In this talk, Dr. Bañales will stir reflection on or further reflection on the ways in which white supremacy and adultism function in Developmental Science. She will then discuss how the principles of Youth-Led Antiracism Research can be used to challenge white supremacy and adultism in Developmental Science. Dr. Bañales will map the principles onto two of her research/practice-based studies to showcase the principles in action. She will conclude with the audience's reflections on how to challenge white supremacy and adultism in Developmental Science.
