Contextual Nudges: Ecological Perspectives on Youth's Health and Well-Being
Presenter: Amy M. Bohnert, PhD, Professor, Department of Psychology, Loyola University Chicago
Dr. Bohnert’s talk will examine how various interacting contexts (individual, family, community) play roles in affecting child and adolescent well-being. With particular attention to transition points as opportunities for reorganization, studies that utilize an exciting variety of methods for capturing contextual influences on development will be discussed. Attention will also be given to the potential implications for understanding health equity, and ultimately shaping policy.
