Join the Great Lakes Association of Astronomy Clubs for this free* family friendly event in Maybury State Park in Northville, MI. Note this is a different location than previous years!
Astronomy Clubs from across Southeast Michigan will bring their telescopes out for the public to use as they observe stars, planets and other celestial objects.
This year, as we near the solar maximum, there will also be solar observing prior to sunset - come join us to look for sunspots and other solar phenomena.
Throughout the evening lectures, presentations and hands on activities will be available in addition to star gazing. This event occurs rain or shine.
*The event is free but a State Parks pass or money to pay for admission to the park is required.
