Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business will present a full-day, interactive seminar, “Resolving Conflict in Health Care” on Oct. 19.

Instructors include Brian Peters, chief executive officer of the Michigan Health & Hospital Association; Deborah Childs, retired chief human resource officer for the University of Michigan Health System; and Edward Hartfield, a dispute resolution professional for more than 40 years.

The seminar is designed for professionals in health care, including physicians, nurses, health care provider administrators, managers, human resource managers, health care insurers and health care regulators.

The Wayne State University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses can earn 7 CEUs, and business professionals can earn 6.5 CEUs.

Continental breakfast, lunch, parking and a binder of materials are included. Registration is $400 per person, with a discount of $75 per person for groups of three or more. Online registration is available at ilitchbusiness.wayne.edu/health-care.
