Researchers, practitioners and scholars from all disciplines are invited to take part in an engaging conference focused on overcoming the effects of mistrust and discrimination to build trustworthy relationships in health care. To find complete details and register, visit the conference website.

Through presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics, conference attendees will have the opportunity to explore the meaning and importance of medical mistrust in health care, discuss the impact of discrimination and mistrust on diverse vulnerable populations, examine strategies to encourage vulnerable populations to participate in health research, and explore interventions to establish trustworthiness and build trust in health care.

Keynote speakers S. Raquel Ramos, PhD, MBA, MSN, FNP, FNYAM, FAHA, and Schenita Davis Randolph, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN, highlight this year’s conference. Ramos is an associate professor at the Yale University School of Nursing, and Randolph is an associate professor at the Duke University School of Nursing.
