This powerful event serves as an induction into the nursing profession and provides an important opportunity for incoming BSN students to meet and interact with many of their College of Nursing faculty. The White Coat Ceremony and Reception is for incoming CD2, traditional and veteran BSN students and is only open to students and faculty. 

Students should bring their white lab coat to the event in order to participate. We ask that you wear business casual attire, meaning dress pants, khakis or knee-length skirts, a dress shirt or blouse, open-collar or polo shirt, or dress. Please do not wear jeans or shorts.

Please plan on arriving by 2:30 p.m., as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3 p.m.
