Dr. Lysack will present "Don't Fear the Robots," including a lecture and a Q&A session, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Wayne State University Industry Innovation Center. A reception with light hors d'oeuvres will follow from 6 to 7 p.m.

With master’s degrees in engineering and law in addition to 15 years of clinical experience as a neuroradiologist, Dr. Lysack brings a rare breadth of knowledge and expertise to the issue of AI adoption in health care. In March 2023, a comprehensive analysis by Goldman Sachs concluded that, from a technical perspective, artificial intelligence (AI) could replace over 25% of all health care jobs in the U.S. today. So why hasn’t that happened? And how long will that last? The answers lie at the intersection of technology, medicine and law.
We look forward to having you join us for this exciting Barr-Wilson Lecture Series presentation, "Don't Fear the Robots," by Dr. John Lysack.
