PAN Seminar: Visible light beam monitor at Belle II
This event is in the past.

Abstract:
The Large Angle Beamstrahlung Monitor (LABM) is a device designed to measure the beamstrahlung emitted at the interaction point of an e+e- collider. Beamstrahlung is the radiation emitted by two beams of charged particles due to their electromagnetic interaction. It is directly related to the size and configuration of the beams, and provides direct information on the beams at the IP. This talk presents recent and planned upgrades to the device and data analysis.
