This virtual session focuses on faculty Fulbright applications and COIL-type programming (collaborative online international learning). Participants will learn the types and rewards of Fulbright Scholar programs and the basic elements of successful Fulbright applications, presented by Catherine Franklin with the Office of Fellowships. Nicole Coleman, Coordinator for Faculty Engagement and Global Learning, will present opportunities for faculty to include a global component in their courses, particularly collaborative online projects with partners abroad. 
 
This session is co-hosted by the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development and the Office of Academic Student Affairs and Global Engagement, as well as the Office of International Programs and the Office of Fellowships.
 
Objectives:

  • Identify the types and rewards of Fulbright Scholar programs
  • Explain the basic elements of successful Fulbright applications
  • Describe opportunities for collaborative online projects with partners abroad
