In honor of the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, the Wayne State English Department and Kino Club 313 cordially invite you to join in our Frankenreads celebration, one of over a hundred events taking place internationally to commemorate Shelley's legacy. 

This event will include a public reading of Frankenstein in its entirety, to be followed by a screening of the 1910 Edison Studios short film Frankenstein and the 1935 classic Universal horror film, Bride of Frankenstein. These screenings will be preceded by a short lecture from guest speaker Dr. Peter Marra.
