Dear Fellow Wayne State Warriors,
I am proud to announce that Wayne State University will once again join forces with Henry Ford Health System to host the American Heart Association’s Metro Detroit Heart and Stroke Walk on May 16th. As Co-Chair of the event, I am excited to make this our best year ever!
Because of you, WSU has raised more than $160,000 and engaged nearly 2,000 walkers over the past three years, but we can do more! To start with, we need 150 passionate people to act as Team Coaches. Those of you who were coaches in the past know the time commitment is minimal, but the net effect is tremendous.
Will YOU join us in our efforts as a coach this year? We will have a kick-off meeting on Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. in IBio so everyone can learn more! The AHA supports you every step of the way and makes it easy! PLEASE Register as a Team Coach TODAY!
These days, everyone has commitments that demand attention so I thank you in advance for taking the time to read my email and for your support of the American Heart Association. Together, we will make the 2020 Metro Detroit Heart and Stroke Walk a smashing success, positively impacting the health of our campus community and all of South East Michigan in the process.
