Category: Training

The office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to offer the Research Development seminar series for WSU faculty, chairs & directors, postdoctoral trainees & graduate students, and administrators. Seminars are free but registration is required.

This training Webinar, Using CAYUSE: Internal Platform for Grant Submissions, will take place Thursday, November 5th, 2020, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Need a refresher in using CAYUSE? Have no idea what it is? What is SP? 424? CAYUSE is the internal processing platform used for all external grant submissions (SP) and can be used through its 424 interface for the actual proposal submission. CAYUSE has many bells and whistles and asks for a lot of information (what doesn’t nowadays?). As a database it allows each faculty member to track her/his own activity, but it also allows Wayne State to track proposal activity and grants funded by college, department, program. This data is integral for measuring WSU’s success in the research enterprise, useful in program reviews, and determining national rankings.

This seminar will help you navigate your way through CAYUSE.

Please click the RSVP above; make sure your WSU email or AccessID is correct, and you will be sent a link for the webinar prior to the event date.
