Michigan Community Outreach to Address Financial Toxicity (MI-COST) is holding its third seminar, "Employee Benefits for People with Cancer: Knowing and Using Them" on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023, 5:30 - 6:30 PM via Zoom. Seminar topics will include an overview of common benefits offered by employers, working with your Human Resources department, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), sick leave, life insurance, and more.
MI-COST is a newly established community-academic partnership funded by the Michigan Health Endowment Fund. The goal is to develop educational resources to help people with cancer and their loved ones to manage the financial impact of cancer.
