Assessing Representational Risk

Presenter:

Michelle Sleed, PhD, Senior Researcher in the Child Attachment and Psychological Therapies Research Unit at the Anna Freud Centre and University College London

The Assessment of Representational Risk (ARR) can be used to assess the clinical features of risk and resilience in caregiving representations, including affect regulation and distorted attributions. The ARR is used clinically and in research alongside reflective functioning interviews. This course is designed to provide researchers and mental health professionals with:

  • A theoretical overview of the features of parental representations that are associated with risk and resilience in the parent-child relationship
  • An introduction to the ARR
  • Coding and discussions of interviews
  • Preparation for reliability in using the ARR

Click "RSVP Now" above for registration form
Payment Due 5/1/24
$500 for training
$700 for training + reliability
Hotel rooms are available across the street from the training venue at the Inn on Ferry.

For more information about ARR, please view this YouTube video created by the Anna Freud Center for Children and Families.
