Led by CLAS GIS Director Alex Hill, this workshop will introduce you to the fundamental terms and processes needed to understand Detroit’s open data. Then, we will move to an interactive game that helps orient you to Detroit’s 311 data on the Improve Detroit app and how to ask questions from Detroit’s open data portal. This workshop will focus on the Improve Detroit dataset and a few open data tools.
