Join the WSU chapter of Net Impact for an invigorating day of Urban Farming! We will be learning about the importance of sustainability in farming with the Oakland Avenue Urban Farm in the North End neighborhood. We will be assisting the farm with their Farmer's Market and any other projects they might need.

Urban farming is important because it contributes to urban food security and nutrition, it has a strong impact on the local economy, and it improves the greening of the city.

You do not have to be a member of Net Impact to volunteer with us, but you should be an MISB student. For more information, follow us on Instagram @netimpactwsu
