Hear from Marie Leithauser, MS, MBA, PCC, who, after receiving a B.S. in Chemistry from Wayne State University in 1981, had an exciting 20-year career as a senior leader in BioPharmaceutical R&D and is now an executive coach.

As the former chief of staff to the head of Research at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), Marie has experience in organizational restructuring, executive communication, stakeholder engagement, change management, and navigating complex matrix organizations. She co-led the successful integration of a biotech company into BMS and was a key leader of strategic R&D-wide initiatives. 

As an executive coach, Marie brings warmth, respectfulness, confidence, and open-mindedness to her coaching practice. She possesses a keen ability to grasp complex concepts quickly and challenge assumptions. Marie is a trusted confidante to industry leaders and a sought-after mentor. Marie earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Wayne State University, M.S. in Oncology from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and MBA from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
