Hear from Marie Leithauser, MS, MBA, PCC, who, after receiving a B.S. in Chemistry from Wayne State University in 1981, had an exciting 20-year career as a senior leader in BioPharmaceutical R&D and is now an executive coach.
Marie will talk about how leadership is instrumental to career success.
As the former chief of staff to the head of Research at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), Marie has experience in organizational restructuring, executive communication, stakeholder engagement, change management, and navigating complex matrix organizations. She co-led the successful integration of a biotech company into BMS and was a key leader of strategic R&D-wide initiatives.
As an executive coach, Marie brings warmth, respectfulness, confidence, and open-mindedness to her coaching practice. She possesses a keen ability to grasp complex concepts quickly and challenge assumptions. Marie is a trusted confidante to industry leaders and a sought-after mentor. She has seen firsthand the impact senior leaders have on their organizations and appreciates the importance of a solid and well-communicated strategy, efficient and effective operations, and authentic and thoughtful leadership. Marie encourages clients to experiment with different approaches and behaviors and to help clients move from insight to action.
Marie earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Wayne State University, M.S. in Oncology from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and MBA from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a graduate of Duquesne University’s Professional Coaching Certification program and is PCC-certified by the International Coach Federation.
