Join the Office of Multicultural Student Engagement (OMSE) for our sixth annual Wayne State University (WSU) Welcome Black event! Welcome Black 2023 will be held on Saturday, August 26th starting at 6:00 PM in the Student Center Ballroom. Connect with peers, faculty, and staff during this exciting networking/social event.  Our goal is to help all Black students get connected to WSU campus resources, Black student organizations, Black faculty, administrators, and staff at the beginning of the school year.  Students who attend will leave this event with a deeper understanding of Black culture and a new network of supporters.  All OMSE events are open to all WSU students, faculty, and staff from all backgrounds.

The event will feature a Welcome, Informational Session, Networking Activity, followed by a Student Social that will feature DJ Cash, Food, a Photo Booth and other opportunities.  Start the semester off right, by getting connected to us at this event!
