WSU Juneteenth Creative Literary Competition

The first-ever WSU Juneteenth Creative Literary Competition is currently seeking submissions from Wayne State University undergraduate and graduate students, along with high school students!
Your submission should answer the question: What does Juneteenth mean to me?
You have the option of a written submission (no more than 500 words) or a video submission (no more than 90 seconds). Please note that by submitting to the competition, you are consenting to your submission being posted on WSU Juneteenth Committee’s social media accounts.
Lawrence Otis Graham Award for each category (written and video)
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $350
3rd Place: $150
Entries should be submitted to juneteenth@wayne.edu from April 27th - June 7th. Winners will be announced on June 17th.
