This course is comprised of two modules with the first focusing on Ethical Social Work Practice and second on The Regulatory Process.  The course is also divided into 14 parts designed to assist participants in managing completion of the course at an individual pace. Module one focuses on licensure, the Public Health Code, and the code of ethics, exploring causes of ethical violations, describing the slippery slope model, and following with the challenges that social workers face.  Development of the social worker is then identified in Module two, followed by risk factors and examples of excuses often voiced by social workers who have been sanctioned for violating the Public Health Code. This is an online continuing education credit hour course that can be completed at your leisure in the comfort of your own home! It is as simple as watching the presentation, completing a post-test followed by an evaluation and paying the fee. Pending a passing post-test score, a certificate will be e-mailed to you.
