Join the Wayne State University Mental Health Wellness and Anti-stigma Committee for Mental Health Awareness Day with the Pistons on Tuesday, March 17, 2020! Take advantage of the opportunity to learn about available resources from experts in the field of sports social work! Each person who purchases a ticket will receive a special edition Detroit Pistons Mental Health Awareness T-shirt.
One FREE Social Work CEU will be distributed after the 5:45 pm Panel Discussion. Pre-registration is not required.

12:30 - 3:00 pm “Do it for Daniel” Documentary - Discussion with his Father, Piston’s Legend Jeff Olson
5:30 - 6: 45 pm: “Viewing Sport from Various Social Work Perspectives”
A panel discussion featuring WSU Social Work alum Kalimah Johnson, ASWIS President Matt Moore and Abigail Eiler, Emily Klueh and Rachel Amity of the UofM Athletics Counseling Department. Welcome remarks from WSU Social Work Dean Sheryl Kubiak.
7:00 pm: Piston vs. Magic tipoff
