Implicit biases affect our unconscious thinking and decision-making, and it's an individual's responsibility to unearth and mitigate biases before they affect others. This interactive, two-hour workshop, designed for healthcare professionals and students (although open to anyone currently affiliated with Wayne State), provides an opportunity for deep self-exploration as well as tools to mitigate biases.

As of June 1, 2022 the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requires implicit bias training for healthcare professionals. This event fulfills that requirement up to 2 hours.

This event has reached capacity. The next offering for this workshop is December 1st, 2022, and RSVPs are open.

RSVP REQUIRED for this workshop.

This workshop is run by Wayne State University's Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
