The WSU and Detroit communities are invited to join us in this innovative and empowering event. The "Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Red Dress Event" is being held to inform the community on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIW), a critical social justice issue existing in Indigenous communities in the US and Canada. Periodic talks will be led by members of the local Indigenous community, with gifts and refreshments provided. This is a great opportunity to engage in a dialogue surrounding an oft-hidden problem in our Indigenous community.

Agenda:

  • Speaking sessions: 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm
  • Closing prayer: 5 pm

No RSVP is required.
