The Detroit Tri-County Social Work Health Career Opportunity Academy (The Academy) is recruiting junior and senior BSW students for The Ambassadors Program. The goal of the program is to prepare BSW junior/senior students to provide culturally responsive health care practices in underserved communities. This training program is set to begin September 2024 and is seeking 25 applicants. Selected participants will receive a $2,100 scholarship and a $2,100 stipend. Students will have the opportunity to participate in self-guided learning activities, seminars, clinical training opportunities, case management, and mentorship. Apply for the Ambassadors program by August 19 here.
