Objectives:
At the end of this lecture, the learner will be able to:
- Describe the advantages and disadvantages of cross-sectional and longitudinal studies of neural and cognitive aging.
- Identify age-sensitive and age-stable brain regions and structures.
- Describe at least 3 major moderators of age-related brain changes.
- Discuss the major findings and challenges in the study of neural mechanism of cognitive aging.
