"Pedophilic Disorder, Developmental Trauma, and Intellectual Disability: A Challenging Case"


Objectives:

1. Explain how developmental vulnerabilities in youth with intellectual Disability and Developmental Trauma increase the risk for sexually offending behaviors.

2.  Identify clinical implications and treatment challenges in this population.

3. Describe the role of systems of care in the case.

4.  Discuss ethical considerations in the management of youth with Pedophilic disorder and Co-morbid Intellectual Disability and Developmental Trauma.
