Join Dean Mark E. Schweitzer for a presentation and conversation around Wayne State University Medical Schools quality improvement and accreditation journey.  Just as science and medicine evolves with a focus on feedback and action aligned with goals and mission, School of Medicine organizational advances require all of us working together to enhance the learning, teaching and working environment.

The town hall goal is to ensure students, faculty and staff at the school of medicine understand the importance School of Medicine places on its mission and the critical role the quality improvement and accreditation journey play in advancing the school.

Topics for presentation include:

- Driving change and program enhancements based from from the perspective of mission, vision, values and strategic plan

- Understanding the need for constructive ongoing feedback loops and the role of the IEC and LCME committees

- the LCME accreditation journey

- celebrating improvements made and those on the horizon.
