Ed Love will educate and entertain with a four-show series this February on Destination Jazz. Each week's show will highlight a different period in Billie Holiday's music and life.
- Feb. 5 from 10 p.m. - midnight, "Billie Holiday: The Early Years (1933 - 19 35)"
- Feb. 12 from 10 p.m. - 2 a.m., "Billie Holiday: The Legend Continues (1935 - 1942)"
- Feb. 19 from 10 p.m. - 2 a.m., "Billie Holiday: The Superstar Celebrity Years (1942 - 1956)
- Feb. 26 from 10 p.m. - 2 a.m., "Billie Holiday: The Final Years covering (1956 - 1959)
The celebration of Billie Holiday's share her music, accompanied by the greats Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, Ben Webster, Teddy Wilson, Lester Young, Harry James and others. The four shows reveal her main musical influences as well as her love affairs and life challenges and highlights.
