The Wayne State University School of Medicine Alumni Association Medical Alumni Reunion Weekend will be April 28-30, 2023.

This wonderful weekend of learning, visiting and recognition provides a great opportunity to regain the spirit of your experience at the School of Medicine and reaffirm your lifetime commitment to your profession and your school. Reunion is a special opportunity for alumni, resident alumni, graduate alumni, and friends to get together and reminisce with classmates and old friends. While all alumni are invited back for the reunion, the classes of 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018 will celebrate a special class reunion reception before the dinner and will be seated together during dinner. This provides an opportunity to catch up with former classmates. Special reunion classes have the opportunity to make a collective class gift to the School of Medicine in honor of their class years.

Festivities begin Friday night with a reception at The Corner Ballpark (old Tiger Stadium).  Saturday kicks off with interesting and relevant CME sessions, featuring alumni presenters, followed by lunch and a tour of the School of Medicine.  After a short break in the afternoon, we will reconvene for a special class reception, followed by dinner and an award ceremony. The weekend celebration concludes Sunday with an entertaining and informative bus tour around Detroit that showcases the city's incredible revitalization and a Detroit Tigers vs. Baltomore Orioles baseball game at Comerica park.

Whether you graduated 5 or 70 years ago, Medical Alumni Weekend is a great way to reunite with friends, recall some of your best memories and learn how Wayne State School of Medicine has changed. All alumni are encouraged to attend!
