First-Gen Fest
11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
November 8, 2017, marked the inaugural National First-Generation Day. Colleges & universities across the nation designated this day to recognize and celebrate the experiences, contributions, and presence of first-generation college students, faculty, and staff. In alignment with the National First-Gen Day, the goal of the WSU First-Gen Fest will be to celebrate the accomplishments of current students, alumni, faculty, and staff who are the first to attend/graduate from a four-year college.
The Warrior 360 Program in partnership with the Office of Multicultural Student Engagement (OMSE), the Dean of Students Office (DOSO), and Housing & Residence Life will be working together to bring this celebration to campus to recognize the first-gen population, on November 13th.
