The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art, Art History, and Design is pleased to present INTERWOVEN: 2025 Undergraduate Exhibition, April 25 through May 9, 2025; with an opening reception on Friday, April 25, 5-8PM.
INTERWOVEN celebrates the power of connectivity through various disciplines within the Department of Art, Art History, and Design.
Students nurture innovation and technique through the convergences of practices allowing their collective voices to reveal a personal vision and critical inquiry. The pursuit of a dynamic and unified whole fosters a shared space where artistic discoveries flourish.
INTERWOVEN has been organized by the following students from the department’s Gallery Management Course / Gallery Learning Community: Jakira Ahmed (GLC Peer Mentor), Harper Allen, Tatiana Davis, Jackson Finkelstein, Leilah Lappin, Nole Ligon, JoLynn Low, Jamie Pittinos, Shannon O'Connor, Nicholas Smith, and Darin Stanford.

Coinciding with INTERWOVEN, the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art, Art History, and Design is pleased to present The Untitled: 2025 BFA Thesis Exhibition from April 25 through May 9, 2025.
Students enrolled in Professional Practices II come together to showcase their work. The interdisciplinary seminar, a capstone course for Bachelor of Fine Art students, encourages them to examine contemporary issues in visual art, including history, art criticism and art making. This exhibition celebrates their outstanding achievements during their undergraduate studies at WSU and features approximately 75 works created through a variety of disciplines and approaches.
