Being a student can make it hard to travel internationally. Luckily, you can have an international experience right here in Detroit! As part of International Education Week, the Office of International Programs and Global Studies invite you to find out how living and learning in a global city such as Detroit can benefit you personally and professionally. Hear from State Rep. Stephanie Chang (6th District) from 12:30 - 1 p.m., who will speak about our diverse city and why it's important for you to be active in a variety of opportunities. Local organizations that have an international focus will also be present so you can learn how to get involved without leaving southeast Michigan! Food and drinks will be provided.

International Education Week 2017, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, focuses on the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide with the goal of preparing American students for a global environment and attracting future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
