You're invited to the Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice Info-Session for National Transfer Student Week on October 21st at 2:00pm!
Students of criminology and criminal justice learn about what the criminal justice system is and how it functions, multidisciplinary theoretical explanations of crime, and how to apply the scientific method to analyze criminal justice outcomes and policies. Criminology & Criminal Justice promotes the use of evidence to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and equity in societal responses to crime.
Courses focus on topics such as police, courts/law, corrections, diversity issues, and criminal justice reform.
Questions will be answered regarding curriculum offerings, careers in criminal justice, and opportunities to get involved in the department.
