POSTPONED - African American Graduation Celebration: Celebrating Culture, Academic Achievement and Student Success
This event is in the past.
Detroit, MI 48201
RSVP is closed.

**THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE**
The purpose of the African American Graduation Celebration (AAGC) is to provide an African-centered ceremony to recognize the accomplishments of the graduates, and the support received from family and friends. The African American Graduation Celebration provides a forum where excellence among students can be celebrated and achievements acknowledged. It is not an alternative graduation, but rather a celebration of success. We strongly encourage your participation in the University Commencement to be held April 29-30, 2020, at Fox Theatre - please visit www.commencement.wayne.edu for more information.
Bridging the past with our present, the African American Graduation Celebration serves as a cultural rite of passage that recognizes and affirms all graduating students who have completed a rigorous course of study at WSU. The African American Graduation Celebration is an African-centered ceremony that honors undergraduate, graduate and professional school students who have successfully completed their studies at Wayne State University.
