Mark will answer your questions about composting, sustainable agriculture, and tips on how to compost successfully. He will also touch on why organic compost is better than chemical fertilizer, the reasons this work is important for environmental justice, and any questions you may have.
Before the talk starts, explore the WSU Farmers Market, grab lunch from a food truck, and a FREE coffee, then settle down for a great conversation! Meet at the yellow shipping container on the corner of Woodward and Warren, from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
