Thanks to a CLAS Social Justice Grant, we are delighted to announce the SKY Happiness Retreat for WSU students, faculty, and staff (choose from three options): 

SKY Happiness Retreat is a powerful resilience program where one learns the SKY Breath Meditation, an evidence-based breathwork and meditation practice that can significantly reduce stress markers while increasing overall wellbeing and calmness (more on the research here). The retreat also features social connection, self-development, and stress-management skills which bring calm, clarity, and happiness.

  • July 1-3 (M-W, online): 2:00-5:00 pm ET all three days, OR
  • August 6-8 (T-Thonline): 2:00-5:00 pm ET all three days, OR
  • August 19-21 (M-W, in-person, on campus): 2:00-5:30 pm ET all three days.

Spots are limited on each batch, so we encourage you to apply at your earliest. To attend, you must be able to participate in all three sessions of one of the batches. Before filling out the application, please make sure you can be in full attendance. 

 
 

Recent research studies evaluated by Yale University shows that SKY Breath Meditation was the most powerful and beneficial program for student mental health and well-being. Participants reported improvements in six areas of well-being:depression, stress, mental health, mindfulness, positive affect, and social connectedness.
