Join our expert-led online session tailored for postdoctoral scholars and early career faculty who are looking to further their careers through mentored National Cancer Institute career development (K Award) grants. This session will get into some of the complexities of securing NCI awards, focusing on application processes and the key criteria for success. The webinar will feature a 45-minute presentation by NCI program officers, followed by an Q&A session. This is an ideal opportunity to engage directly with NCI experts and obtain insights on enhancing your grant applications for significant career advancement in the field of cancer research.
Session Leaders:
- Sergey Radaev, Ph.D., is a Program Director at Cancer Training Branch, Center for Cancer Training, National Cancer Institute. Dr. Radaev currently manages a diverse portfolio of NCI career development awards.
- Michael Schmidt, Ph.D., is a Program Director at the NCI Center for Cancer Training, where he manages Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00) and NCI Transition Career Development Award (K22) awards.
- Corinne Boulanger-Espeut Ph.D., M.B.A., is a Health Science Administrator/Program Director in the Cancer Training Branch (CTB) in the NCI’s Center for Cancer Training. Dr. Boulanger-Espeut is responsible for managing a grants portfolio of training and career development awards.
